為什麼ㄨ放在 u 而不是 w 呢？因為ㄨ的使用量還蠻高的，而 u 比 w 好按多了。正音輸入法的鍵位設計按照使用頻率分配，讓你的手指輕鬆省力，字打得飛快！

ㄚ和ㄧㄚ不會對應到相同的聲母，所以可以一起放在 r 鍵。從這些例子可以看到，許多注音符號與英文字母的對應關係是很容易聯想在一起的；而沒有對應到的，可透過注音符號與注音符號之間的關係聯想在一起。37 個注音符號，要硬記的只有：ㄓ(o)、ㄔ(a)、ㄕ(i)、空聲母(y)、空韻母(f)、ㄢ(c)、ㄧㄠ(f)，其它的都很簡單。

英文有 26 個字母，注音有 21 個聲母、3 個介音、與空聲母，多出的一個就是 q，剛好派上用場！

撇開 q 鍵大法，這套輸入法的重碼率是多少呢？根據我們的統計資料：第 407 組重碼字是「炅/煚」，不含聲調的話，代碼同樣是 jhOF。

正音輸入法的字根數量不多，目前也沒有看到哪一個輸入法的字根比正音輸入法還要好記。字根幾乎都可以在手機螢幕鍵盤上看得到，長按字或詞，就可以查字根，簡單又方便。
